Christidis Agro Supplies S.A., seeking to add value to their incentive trips, asked MICE specialists, Joysters to organise a corporate trip for 50 professional farmers to the facilities of Eurochem in Antwerp – one of the world’s leading mineral fertilizer producers – in order to motivate and reward the company’s devoted collaborators.

The trip took place between 24 – 27 January 2019 and the group, apart from the Eurochem facilities, located at the largest integrated oil and chemical cluster in Europe, also visited Brussels, the city of Antwerp and Ghent.

During their visit at Eurochem Antwerp the group was shown Eurochem’s ability to tailor products to specific crops and soil conditions, both in a cost effective for their customers and substantially improved for the environment ways.

An incentive programme should also provide immersion in the local culture to create a personalized additional value to the significant experience of the participants. Τherefore, the group was taken on a tour to the European district in Brussels in order to see where significant decisions for their future are made. They also visited a jewellery/workshop in Antwerp, where they learnt how to grade and choose diamonds. Finally, they were toured around the magnificent medieval city of Ghent and tasted some of the local delicacies.

Joysters thoroughly enjoyed organising the trip and hope that the memories of the trip will encourage networking opportunities as well as camaraderie amongst attendees. Judging by the photos taken during the trip, the happy faces and the friendships forged the goal has been achieved.
